Nursing home care, which can also be known as skilled nursing, is representative of the highest form of care that can be experienced without having to go into a hospital. This special type of care offers seniors to undergo short-term care in the aftermath of a surgical procedure, injury, or a sudden malady such as a stroke. These services also provide long-term care for golden agers that have severe trouble with activities for daily living, otherwise known as ADLs. They do offer activities, but my loved one just doesn't participate. The food is good, but they don't give a menu for the residents to know what is being served for each meal. There also aren't any options, they serve one meal for each breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No choices, whatever they serve is what the residents get. My loved one isn't thrilled about that, but still says the food is good.

I think they do a great job with the food. I’m not saying I’ve always liked what’s offered, but there are always at least two choices for the main entree, and then choices for different vegetables and bread. So I usually can find something I like, there are more choices than I had expected. The main thing is the physical therapy, they have a very large room they call a gym. From what I’ve observed, the activities are for each individual, they have different things and group activities also. I’ve been very pleased with the care I’ve received here.

HarborChase is beautiful and wonderful place the staff are amazing the sales director goes above and beyond, the whole staff really loves the residents and cares about the families. My wife has Alzheimer’s so we decided to move into assisted living rather than move her to memory care. I had my doubts that they would take care of her the way I wanted... The Legend Assisted Living community is a beautiful place and our loved one is doing great there. Everybody is wonderful and extremely friendly - however sometimes they are understaffed so the response times...
